4) Hostel Job outside of Los Angeles: details below:

At this time we have only one position available.

The position is at the HI-Los Angeles (Los Angeles suburb).

Male or female candidates will be considered for the position.

The position is working as a Hostel Operations Assistant performing front desk (registration) and housekeeping duties.

The hostel will be open from June 14 - September 12, 2010. We are looking for someone who can work all of the dates that the hostel is open (can be flexible on the end date but would like the new staff person to arrive a week or more before we open for training and orientation).

This is a full time (32-40 hours per week), live-in staff position. Overtime is sometimes available. Overtime is paid at time and a half for working more than eight hours in a day or 40 hours in a week. Double time is paid for working on holidays.

Housing is provided on-site at the hostel at no cost to the employee.

We are most interested in candidates who have previous work abroad experience with an excellent command of the English language (written and spoken).

Previous experience in a hotel or other accommodation service is a plus.
