Will I have to prove that my flight to Boston in October was business related even if it wasn’t, if I want to include it in the tax form? 2/ if I can include the non-business flights in the form – can I also put there my fiancé’s flights? The travel expenses that are deductible are those which are your non reimbursed travel expenses incurred during the 2004 tax year. All out of pocket expenses to travel to your new work place. 2. You can not deduct expenses incurred by your fiance'. 3. Other expenses that can be deducted would be for education. Do not include expenses incurred for travel between home and work.
