Mam pytanie, znalazlem cos takiego na stronie jednego z biur:

"Dostaniesz wizę bez konieczności stawienia się w ambasadzie/konsulacie. To ułatwienie dotyczy tylko tych studentów, którzy otrzymali wizę J1 w

roku 2008.

Zgodnie z wytycznymi ambasady będziesz mógł rozpocząć pracę nie wcześniej niż 25 maja i zakończyć ją najpóźniej 15 października, przy założeniu

że pracujesz nie dłużej niż 4 miesiące."

W to pierwsze akurat niewatpie, bo potwiedzilo mi to kilka biur W&T. Bardziej interesuje mnie to drugie tzn. ze najwczesniej mozna wyjechac dopiero 25 maja. Do tej pory mozna bylo jechac 1 maja. Szukalem na stronie Ambasady ale nic o tym nie pisza?

Znalazl ktos moze potwiedzenie tego na jakiejs oficjalnej stonie ?

The 30-day limitation does not apply to current exchange participants who are returning to continue with their exchange program.

Chodzi o to ze ciezko bedzie wytlumaczyc urzednikowi na granicy ze przez te pierwsze 30 dni nie bede pracowal, skoro jade prosto do miejsca pracy. -O nową wizę ubiegają się w przeciągu 12 miesięcy od daty wygaśnięcia poprzedniej.

-Ubiegają się w placówce konsularnej wskazanej dla ich miejsca zamieszkania. Np. osoba, która uzyskała wizę kategorii F-1 w Warszawie po 10 grudnia 2007 ważną do 05 listopada 2008, nie musi ubiegać sie o nową wizę F-1 osobiście, jeżeli stara sie o nią przed 04 listopada 2009.

SUMMER WORK AND TRAVEL PROGRAM:

UPDATED 01/02/2009

WHO QUALIFIES:

Students at post secondary schools, including morning, evening and weekend students who have completed at least one year (N.B.: includes Policealne Studium students who have completed at least one year and are not in their second year)

Effective November 20, 2006, post-secondary students in their final year (those who are current students when they applied for participation even if they will have graduated at the time of participation in SWT program) are permitted to participate in SWT programs.

There is no age limit (although there is no formal age restrictions for participants, applicants who are not of normal student age will receive greater scrutiny).

Sufficient English fluency to undertake the proposed program is required.

Program length cannot exceed four (4) months.

For the 2009 SWT program dates for Poland will be May 25- October 15, 2009.

There is no prohibition against students participating in SWT programs more than one time.

Who DOES NOT Qualify as a Student for J-1 SWT Program:

High school students accepted for college in the autumn.

Vocational schools (for example, cosmetology, hair dressing, detective schools).

Secondary school for adults.

RULES REGARDING CAMP COUNSELORS:

At least 18 years old.

Students must only work as counselors and not as administrative or support staff (e.g. cooks, janitors, waiters).

The length of the program cannot exceed four (4) months.

Documents required:

1.Electronic visa application form (EVAF) DS 156- form must be fully completed and signed by the applicant in the proper box.

2.Supplemental NIV application DS 157 for all male applicants ages 16-45.

3.Contact information and Work History – DS 158.

4.Certificate of the Eligibility for Exchange Visitor (J 1) Status (DS2019) that is signed by the student.

5.Proof of payment of the $35 SEVIS fee.

6.Proof of payment of the MRV processing fee (MRV fee should be paid in Polish zloties in bank or post office. Only individual proof of payment with the original stamp of bank or post office will be accepted. Please check our website to get the latest information about the current exchange rate and the amount that should be paid.

7.One (1) visa photo taken in the last 6 months. All information on photo requirements you will find on our website.

8.Passport valid for travel with validity extending at least 6 months beyond validity of visa.

9.The student’s Indeks and legitymacja issued by the school.

The DS 2019 must be entered into the SEVIS system and SEVIS fee payment must be confirmed. As the confirmation of SEVIS fee payment appears in the system 48 hours after payment, please ensure that SEVIS fee is paid appropriately earlier before the interview date.

How to schedule appointment:

1.SWT agents should call the Call Center in Warsaw which services both Consular Sections in Warsaw and Krakow to request an appointment time. Please note that there is a charge for calling the info line.

2.SWT agents should identify the number of appointments to be scheduled and check if the day requested is available. The maximum number of the applicants in one group should be 30.

3.SWT agents calling for the first time must provide the name of the firm, the full name of the representative, a contact phone number and current e-mail address.

4.Once the appointment is scheduled, the operator will give the time and date of appointment to the SWT agent as well as inform the agent of the deadline for submitting the RDS diskette and all documents to the Consular Sections either in Warsaw or Krakow.

5.SWT agents will then receive an e-mail confirmation with the interview date and date of submission of all documents to the Consular Section.

6.Failure of delivery of documents to the Consular Section on the given day may result in the cancellation of the appointment for the group.

How to prepare documents:

Both Consular Sections use the RDS- Remote Data Entry program for NIV (nonimmigrant-visa) applications. This system enables to transfer of data to the NIV database. All registered agents receive the RDS Remote Data Entry program which should be installed on their computers.

Before installing the RDS program agents must change the date format to the American format (mm/dd/yyyy) Personal data of the applicants should be entered in alphabetical order, saved onto CD and delivered with all required documents to the Consular Section.

Please note that all fields on RDS screen should be filled out.

All required documents (passports, DS 156, DS157, DS158, DS 2019, SEVIS fee payment confirmation) and the CD should be delivered to the consular section on the assigned day given by the Call Center.

Each passport should posses a label with the name of the agency and the batch number given by the Call Center.

The DS156 should only be filled out electronically and not by hand.

Cooperation with Agent on the day of interview:

1.SWT agents should assist their groups from the moment they show up at the consular section to the moment the last interview is completed and be prepared to answer any questions that may arise.

2.SWT agents should line the students up in alphabetical order, collect cellular phones (which are not allowed in the consular section) and assist them while they are passing through the security check point.

3.The student’s passports are passed to the agent in the waiting-room and the agent should distribute them and assist students in the line to the finger scanning points.

Drop Box Cases:

According to a new State Department policy, students who previously participated in the SWT program and received their J1 visas in 2008 are eligible to apply for J1 SWT visas in 2009 without appearing in person and providing new finger prints.

SWT agents can submit such applications directly to the consular Section without scheduling an appointment. In addition to the required documents, SWT agent should also provide copies of the student’s legitymacja and pages of indeks showing their current grades and status. Should everything be in order with their documents, the students will be issued new J1 visas. However the consular section reserves the right to call such applicants for an interview if more information is needed.

Once the visas are printed the passports will be returned to the SWT agents.

Foreign Students:

Foreign students studying at Polish post-secondary schools or universities can participate in the SWT program and apply for J1 visas in our consular sections in Warsaw or Krakow. In addition to the aforementioned documentation, they should submit proof of their legal status in Poland (copy of the student’s visa or other documentation confirming their legal residence in Poland.
