Czasem sie na to nie daj zlapac.

Jak pamiętam żadnego e-maila nie dostaje się, czeka się na zwykły list. Nawet ten list nie świadczy o wygranej, dopiero po zrobieniu badań itd i wysyłce wzywają do konsulatu zgodnie z kolejnością i kto pierwszy ten lepszy aż limit danych wiz imigracyjnych na dany rok wyczerpie się.

Może opiszę kroki w loterii wizowej, opieram się na moich doświadczeniach z 2005 roku:

1. Wysyła się elektroniczny formularz - wiele alplikacji odpada z powodu błędów i złego zdjęcia.

2. Wygrani otrzymują list zwykłą pocztą z zaproszeniem do zrobienia badań w tym HIV oraz prześwietlenie płuc pod kątem gruźlicy.

3. Robi się badania i z wynikami idzie się do lekarza z listy uprawnionych który robi wywiad, przegląda badania, robi wymagane szczepionki i wystawia zaświadczenie.

4. Dokumenty z aplikacją wysyła się zwykłym listem do USA, kto pierwszy ten lepszy.

5. Z USA dostaje się list z zaproszeniem do konsulatu, w międzyczasie należy złożyć wniosek o świadectwo niekaralności.

6. Następnie konsul podejmuje decyzję o wydaniu wizy imigracyjnej, otrzymuje się dodatkowo dużą żółtą kopertę i w ciągu 180 dni należy wjechać do USA, inaczej wszystko przepada.

7. Na granicy oficer imigracyjny podejmuje ostateczną decyzję o wpuszczeniu na teren USA i przyznaniu statusu.

8. Wszystko jest płatne, śwadectwa, lekarze, badania, sama rozmowa z konsulem ale zgłoszenie jest BEZPŁATNE. Płacimy dopiero od punktu nr 3!!!

Na każdym etapie osoby odpadają i dopiero przekroczenie granicy jest wygraniem w loterii.

Należy być przygotowanym na każdą ewentualność, należy nie być karanym, wolnym od chorób (pewien stes jak robi się HIV) i mieć odpowiednie wykształcenie/doświadczenie. I mieć szczęście bo losują o więcej osób niż jest wiz do wygrania, a należy pamiętac iż na 1 wylosowaną osobę może być wydane kilka wiz emigracyjnych (żona, dzieci) które także wliczają się do puli.
