Hej,

W maju jadę na 3 tyg na Florydę i chciałem z Dziewczyną wynająć auto, aby troche pozwiedzać. Z tego co wyczytałem trzeba mieć minimum roczne prawo jazdy... Problem w tym, że ja je tydzień temu odebrałem... więc w maju ono będzie miało raptem ponad 2 miesiące.

Myślicie, że to przejdzie? Czy ktoś miał podobny przypadek?

To nie tyczy się danych stanów tylko samej firmy wypożyczającej samochód. W niektórych trzeba mieć prawo jazdy minimum rok, czasem trzeba mieć ukończone 21 lat czasem więcej. Niektóre wymagaja międzynarodowego prawa jazdy.

Przejżyj general policies. Dollar np: a foreign driver’s license* issued by the country of residence of the renter and additional drivers. If the driver’s license is not in English the renter and drivers will be required to present both the foreign issued driver’s license and a current International Driver’s Permit (“IDP”); or, if from Japan, a Japanese Translation Service. An IDP does not give a person the right to drive, but provides a certified translation of the valid foreign driver’s license. An IDP (or certified translation) without the foreign issued driver’s license is not acceptable.

*If the foreign issued driver’s license is from a country where “permanent” or “non-expiring” driver’s license are issued, the renter and any additional drivers will also be required to show their passport, visa, or other current U.S. issued documentation at the beginning of their rental authorizing the renter or driver to be preset in the USA at the time of rental.

Czy ktos moze wypozyczal samochod majac prawo jazdy ponizej roku lub moze wie jakie to sa firmy? Czy to sie wiaze z dodatkowymi oplatami etc?

W wielu przypadkach (trzeba by sprawdzić wszystkie firmy wypożyczające) minimalny wiek osoby wypożyczającej (Primary Renter) musi być 25 lat.
