taki zabawny wpis znalazlam na visajourney.com

Dear USCIS,

You fingerprinted me when I came here as a tourist. Several times.

You fingerprinted me when I got my K-1.

You fingerprinted me when I came here as a K-1.

I was about to write that "at least these were free", but of course they were not. I paid for it all, one way or another.

Then I applied for AOS. Oh boy. All fingers, palm prints, fortunately you stopped short of [censored] prints.

Now, two years later, still happily married, I applied for removal of conditions. And you want all my prints again? Hey, I understand. Unemployment is high, those nice folks who take my prints need their jobs, too. But maybe I could just send you a check and let them drink their coffee in peace?

You know, an average chimpanzee would realize by now that MY FINGERPRINTS ARE STILL THE SAME!

..a ktos inny odpisal:

yep - fingerprints are only valid for 15 months and if they expire while you are waiting for AOS then you need to get them redone- I had to do them twice for AOS, and twice for renewal of EADs. Of course, now I had to redo them for removal of conditions. My understanding is that when they expire in 15 months they are deleted from the database so need to be re-entered. That sounds extremely inefficient to me if it is indeed true as you would think they would want to keep a central repository of all immigrant fingerprints. I know that fingerprints can be altered and changed with surgery and stuff but come on now, is it likely I would change my fingerprints to someone who is going through the immigration process if I wanted to scam anybody? It really does seem to be redundant.

Odciski sa pobierane i porownywane z baza danych osob aresztowanych, oskarzanych, deportowanych. Odciski nie sa zawsze takie same. W miare uplywu czasu odciski moga sie zmienic w niektorych przypadkach np. kiedy osoba sie skaleczy, ma operacje palcow, poparzy sie, ma przeszczep skory. Wiele osob, np. wczesniej deportowanych, kladzie na opuszki palcow krople np. lekkiego kwasu. Znam przypadki kiedy ludzie wycinali odrobinke opuszkow zyletka, znam kiedy uzywali Bg wie jakich igiel do tatuazu itd itp....
